FAQ

Is it really free?

Free to use. There is a cap on how many characters and items you can upload.

Can anyone read it if I use my work computer?

Messages and photos are locked before they leave your computer, so a network in between cannot read them. They are deleted after 24 hours.

Does it work on a phone?

On a phone you join the same room through the web. The character play happens in the desktop app.

Can I make my own character?

Yes. Upload your own drawings or ask an AI. Have a look at the how to make one page.

I want to check the file I downloaded is the real one

Compare it with the SHA-256 shown under the download. On Windows run Get-FileHash <path> in PowerShell, on Mac run shasum -a 256 <path> in Terminal.

It says "unidentified developer" the first time I open it

On Mac go to System Settings > Privacy & Security and choose "Open Anyway". On Windows choose "More info" > "Run anyway".
